Symposium is biennial and is dedicated to all fields of forensic science, forensic medicine and associated fields of police and justice activities. Oral and poster presentations are accepted. Oral presentation should not usulaly be longer than 20 minutes. Each participant receives a copy of the Symposium proceedings on CD-ROM. Copy also contains pictures from thematic and social program and presentations of exhibitors. Symposium venue: SOREA Sĺňava Hotel *** is situated in peaceful and quiet surroundings of the world-known spa town Piešťany, famous due to the unique beneficial effects of thermal water and mud, used for decades to successfully heal locomotive diseases. Close to the hotel is located Sĺňava dam - a natural reserve. Hotel is located 1,5 km from the centre of Piešťany and in it’s close proximity are the ice-hockey stadium, squash hall, newly opened bowling-centre, tennis court and volleyball pitch. The Spa Island and swimming pool Eva are situated 3 kilometres from the hotel. Registration: Wednesday, Sept. 26th 2007, between 15:00 and 18:00 at Reception or during the Symposium. Language: The official Symposium language is English. Exhibition: An exhibition of products and services related to the field of Forensic Science will be held alongside the Symposium. Accommodation: Accommodation is provided in hotel rooms: single room 38 € per night including breakfast, double room 63 € per night including breakfast. Each participant would communicate about the accommodation with the hotel on his own. Participant's fee: 150 € The fee includes welcome cocktail, lunches, gala dinner, coffee breaks, social program with dinner and symposium materials. Fee may be paid by bank transfer or cash at registration. If you have special dietary requirements, please indicate it accordingly in the registration form. The data projector and flip chart will by to the lectures disposal. The standard size of the poster paper 0.95 m (W) - 1.35 m (H) are recommended for the poster presentation.
